Not gonna lie, I sometimes forget I've claimed my piece of internet. With all social media, I find it hard to make a statement last more than 20 words.

Sarah reminded me of my brave claim of 'living life to the fullest'. It's been quite a while since my momentary flirtation with bravado and I must admit not much has changed. That's not necessarily a bad thing. The world keeps spinning, bills keep getting paid, work keeps piling up, and I find myself in December.

This is my first year without my family at Christmas time. While I'm attempting to be a big girl about it, I find myself getting petulant and cranky about it. MW does not love Christmas so I feel this self-imposed pressure to make things special for myself. It's hard to make family traditions alone, but maybe it'll take some time.
